BOLD RIDE

If your a fan of high-horsepower and Jaguar’s new F-Type sports car, then boy have I got some good news for you. Coming off the 567-horsepower F-Type Project 7 Concept, Jaguar is planning to build an ever hotter SVR version with somewhere near 600 horsepower.

The report comes from MotorTrend, and they suggest we’ll see another concept — likely the Project 8 — with 600 horsepower and a more production-ready guise before it goes into production. But it should keep a few aspects like the carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon aero kit and an active differential.

As for body style— the more likely candidate is an all-wheel drive coupe to make sure it keeps its stiffness. Since the Project 7 only came as a convertible, though, it could keep that same style.
No word on when it will make its way to production, but we’re definitely excited about this one. Especially considering how good the F-Type already is.
