Watch Tanner Foust Thrash a 400HP Polaris Slingshot

Tanner Foust knows a thing or two about driving fast. Now, he’s putting his skills to the test behind the wheel of a high-powered Polaris Slingshot. This monster boasts over 400 horsepower from a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine in a car that screams for attention.

 

This performance video has Foust tearing through the streets of San Diego, at night, kicking up dirt and leaving plenty of tire smoke in his wake. The car makes an impression during the daylight hours, but on the road at night it looks a lot like something Batman might drive in pursuit of the Joker.

After some street driving that has him catching air on a few hills, the action moves to tighter quarters as Foust takes the Polaris Slingshot into a parking garage. This is where Foust really gets to show off.

 

The path to the top is one giant corkscrew. Foust takes the car up sideways, ridiculously close to the walls, but never making contact. It all ends up on the roof with a couple of victory donuts. Not a bad day’s work.
