Going, going, gone. If you’re in the market for a supercar of monumental proportions and have approximately $1.6 million to burn… you just missed one heck of an opportunity.
Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg announced it has officially sold out of all 25 of its $1.6 million Agera RS supercars, making them not only some of the fastest Koenigseggs ever built, but verifiably the fastest series ever sold.

So what’s the allure? Well, the Koenigsegg Agera RS has been built as a more no-nonsense evolution of the Agera R (1,140 hp) using lessons learned from the creation of the Koenigsegg One:1 (the one with the mammoth 1,340 hp). As such, its twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 now punches out 1,160 horsepower on pump gas, it can dash to 186 mph in a slight 14 seconds, and it only weighs 3,075 pounds. Jaws dropped.

Besides the extra bump in horsepower, Koenigsegg says the Agera RS also provides lighter weight sound insulation, an optional self-leveling suspension, a removable roof, and revised aerodynamic elements, which include a new splitter, winglets, side skirts, under tray, and revised active rear spoiler.

“I am extremely proud of the Agera RS program,” noted Christian von Koenigsegg in a statement. “The performance, road feel, and responsiveness are truly amazing and the level of technical sophistication is second to none.”

Lucky enough to get your own? Koenigsegg says the remainder of the cars will be built this year and the very last few will be delivered in 2017, bound for customers in the US, Canada, UK, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.
