Anyone that buys a sports car or supercar knows that feeling of wanting more. And Hennessey understands that innate desire. That’s why the Texas tuner is always pushing the limits of what’s possible in the realm of high-end sports cars. Take their latest Corvette, for example.

It’s got 1,000 horsepower, which is—truth be told—more than anyone needs in a street-legal vehicle. Upgrading the Corvette’s standard 6.2-liter V8 with a supercharger, Hennessey was able to achieve this insane amount of power for buyers looking for that extra something.

Top speed is well over 200 mph, and at full tilt you’ll get 887 lb-ft torque from this monster machine. But it’s one thing to just read about it, it’s another to actually see it take to the street. Watch.
