Watch YouTuber Casey Neistat Snowboard Through Snow-Covered NYC
This weekend’s winter storm brought a decent amount of snow to a large part of the eastern seaboard. The white stuff fell everywhere from the Carolinas up to New England, and a good amount in New York City, where the NYPD issued a travel ban. That didn’t stop a brazen pair from having serious fun in the snow.
YouTuber Casey Neistat uploaded the video below this morning, showing what he and his friends were up to during the storm. Two of the crew were being towed behind a Jeep Wrangler; one was on a pair of skis and the other on a snowboard, while holding an American flag. Pretty awesome stuff.
Casey and friends were favorites among the New Yorkers that they passed, receiving high fives and being yelled at in encouragement. Eventually, the NYPD eventually arrived on the scene and put an end to the fun, but at still let the Wrangler (which was wearing a set of those new types of soft snow chains) tow the boys home.
The video was only uploaded today, but already has nearly half a million views. Obviously, don’t try this at home, but we have to admit, this looks seriously fun.
